Meet MIKE
I met and became friends with Cory a number of years ago while running Barberville, my barber shop in Abbotsford, BC. He often told me how well I would do at officiating and to be honest, my interest was piqued. Running my barber shop for 15 years took focus and a keen attention to detail. I had the privilege of hosting wedding parties for haircuts and shaves, met and got to know my clients, many of whom became close friends of mine, and was fortunate to be nominated for customer service excellence awards largely due to my desire to make people feel comfortable and important while making them laugh as well!
When I relocated to Airdrie, I decided to join Wild Rose Officiants! The skills I learned as a barber have served me well in the wedding world. I enjoy the full wedding experience and look forward to capturing your personalities and story while officiating for you!
When I’m not doing weddings, I love hiking, camping, smoking meats, BBQ, team sports and good whiskey!
Mike is AMAZING!!! We had a destination wedding and simply needed to legalize our marriage. Our friends told us they felt like he was an old friend! He fit in with us perfectly, and we couldn't be happier!
