How did it all begin with Cory officiating weddings? It all started back in 2006 when a friend asked him to consider “marrying” him and his wife. For some reason, Cory agreed to his request, and the rest is history!

When I officiate weddings I always feel like a proud auntie of the couples I’m working with. I love helping them feel comfortable and at ease on their big day and the emotion I feel while relaying their love story comes straight from the heart. The fact that you are considering me to officiate your wedding humbles me and reminds me of the responsibility I am honoured to engage in . . .

I met and became friends with Cory a number of years ago while running Barberville, my barber shop in Abbotsford, BC. He often told me how well I would do at officiating and to be honest, my interest was piqued...

My passion in officiating weddings is to capture and relay the emotions of important moments to help create an atmosphere that invites those in attendance into the magic of your love story.

On November 2nd, 2024, I married the love of my life! Being part of a ceremony from that standpoint is a beautiful reminder of how special weddings are. I love building genuine connections with people, establishing trust, and being a dependable presence in their lives.

One of Anhelina’s favourite ceremony moments is when the groom first lays eyes on his bride walking up the aisle, surrounded by family and friends. The emotion and tears a groom so often sheds speak volumes to the deep love and adoration he feels for his bride. It’s been said, “a picture is worth a 1000 words,” and that holds true at this moment! 

Slava officiated his first wedding many years ago at the ripe old age of 15! He comes by it honestly, as his dad was an officiant back in the Ukraine where he was born and raised. To date, he has officiated over 800 weddings, has experience with EmCeeing in clubs, helping plan weddings and is a self-professed Karaoke Champion!

Meet Dre Gonzales, a Filipino immigrant and pilot with a passion for making your special day soar. When I’m not navigating the skies, you’ll find me curled up with a good book or strumming my guitar. I’m a lifelong learner, fascinated by philosophy, psychology and podcasts that fuel my curiosity.

David is known for his poise, warmth, and decades of experience leading ceremonies. He is a father, grandfather, and husband, bringing a sense of family to everything he does.

As a young child growing up in the Ukraine, I always dreamed of moving to Canada! In 2022, that dream finally came true!

My name is Alina and I love everything to do with LOVE!!! I am a charismatic and genuine person who is passionate about the little details which can make your special day even more meaningful! I am able to conduct my ceremonies in Ukrainian, Polish and I’m working on improving my English as well!

I officiated well over 100 weddings while living in Ukraine. After moving to Edmonton in 2022 I hoped to have the opportunity to re-engage in this absolutely beautiful industry. Wild Rose Officiants gave me the opportunity to do just that!!!
